RAM, Random Access Memory

RAM, Also known as Random Access Memory, this part of your pc store current information required by the CPU to do the calculations requested by the software.

Ram stores the data in binary format, i.e. 1 and 0’s. this data is transferred back and forth to the computers Central Processing Unit (CPU) to be processed by whatever software you are running. The RAM is controlled by the memory controller on your motherboard situated in the “North Bridge Chip”, unless you have an Athlon 64-Bit system then the CPU will control the RAM
