Summer Swimming Challenge

By Fajja at 9 November, 2006, 6:44 pm

I like challenges. This summer I have set my self a tough one! to try and get as close to the olympic qualification time for the 1500m freestyle (front crawl), currently I am about 5 minutes off the pace… so I definetly have my work cut out.

I train in a 20m pool, so for the 1500m thats 75 lengths. I have managed it in just under the 20 minutes mark last year. However I have just started long distance swimming again (April 2006).

Update: Set a personnel best for this year at 19minutes and 50 seconds !
