Is that why its cold?

Just been having my daily browse on the BBC website, and came across an article which explains why its so cold. The cold snap is being “blamed” on arctic air. Well where else does cold air come from?! When its a northerly wind, its bound to be cold becuase of the region it comes from, surely that’s just common sense!?

However there is a good explanation as to why the air feels so nice, it hasn’t been polluted yet! Just fresh crisp air blown right down from the Arctic Regions. Nothing feels better on a winters day in my opinion.

Although snow never reached Glasgow, there have been some fairly substantial snow falls further North and in some parts of England. Fingers crossed this is a sign of the winterto come.
