First proper Snow Fall to hit Glasgow this winter

Today, at around 1pm, the heavens opened and the snow fell ehre in Glagsgow, last about an hour, and turned the grass white, at the peak there was huge flakes falling which settled nicely on the cool ground. Once it stopped snowing it took about 2 hours for it to thaw and dissapear, hopefully its just the start of things to come this winter!
