It has just been announced that german formula 1 driver, Michael Schumacher, who is 40, will not be making any more appearances after he was chosen to replace Massa. Massa is out of racing due to an injury sustained when a metal object bounced off the track and hit his helmet which leaves the Ferrari team looking for a replacement driver. There was a lot of hype that Michael Schumacher would be making a comeback, but during the summer break he has changed his mind and decided not to race again. Its probably lack of fitness which has made him decide not to take part again.

F1 Drivers need to be extremely fit to handle the g-forces, schumacher had complained that he had a sore neck after driving in an old f1 car to try get back into shape. It would have been nice to see the likes of Hamilton and Vettel race against the most famous driver of all time, but if Michael Schumacher is not feeling that he is ready, then he has made the right and safe choice.

A big well done to Lewis and Co. His family have sacrificed a lot over the years, and he has finally reached the ultimate goal of becoming F1 World Champion.

The race was full of drama, on the penultimate lap Lewis was overtaken by Vettel, relegating him to 6th place, and out of the championship winning points. But Luck was on his side, Glocks toyota had trouble on the second last corner, and Lewis was ble to regain 5th spot, and with it, the F1 World Championship.

The race was so tight at the end, that Ferrari had alread began celebrating, and at one point both Mclaren and Ferrariw were celebrating what they thought was their world championship. But in the end, Ferrari realised what happened to Glock, which meant Lewis was able to claim 5th place, and won the title by a single point. An amazing end to an amazing F1 season.
