Tonight is being reported as the coldest night of the winter so far with temperatures expected to drop to -20 Celcius. Snow and ice have been widespread in the UK for weeks now with temperatures is Glasgow rarely reaching above freezing point, at the time of writing this at 8pm its already -9C outside. So [...]

About 5 minutes ago, it has just started snowing in Glasgow! Quite small but fluffly flakes, nothing too major. There are some Weather Warnings out in the UK for heavy snow over teh weekend though. Hopefully be a few camera opertunities

Official Winter Time in the UK started at just after midnight last night. Over night the temperature fell to -6C at Glasgow Airport, making it the coldest night since last winter. Pretty good start to winter for the cold weather lovers!

Overnight on the 9th of November the temperatures fell to a minimum of -4C at Glasgow Airport. This lead to a hefty frost and thick ice where there was standing water. So far this month has seen a sharp change in temperatures but the next few days look to be warmer. Time will tell whether [...]

Last night temperatures were due to drop to 3C here in Glasgow, however the plummeted to -1 Celcius. This lead to some frost cover and patches of freezing fog were reported near Glasgow Airport.
