Last night when I went to bed it was -5°C! I reckon that would make it the coldest night so far this year, and Glasgow woke up to a lovelly white morning, very cold, crisp, and fresh. Just the way I like it

Just the other day, I was reading a weather forcecasting site, which had some pictures from the coldest winters on record. Namely the winters of 1947(CET of -1.3C) and 1963(CET of -3.1C) The minimum Central England Temperature, CET, was averaged for the months December through to February of each year . There has been over a metre and a half of snow falling in Austria over the past 2 days! This has meant that some ski resorts are able to open 6 weeks early!
